This weeks bit of enlightenment: Those idiots who video tape everything they see!
Something has been bothering me lately, mainly one of the most annoying new products of an advanced society. Those idiots with the camcorders. Why do these people tape evey second of their lives. From their trip to the worlds largest Arbys, to the time they take a wiz at an expensive pay toilet, these people don't miss a thing.
I have many people in my family, who are under the false assumption that a crappy vacation will seem alot better watching it on video a year later. What kind of people sit down on Thanksgiving day to watch little league football from two years ago? Would you like to see, or would you like your friends to see, tapes of you potty training?
And even worse is inappropriate times people find to tape things. I swear I have seen people taping family members funerals. I'd hate to see their video library, Tragic Deaths Greatest hits, The Best of Burials, and of course Classic Cremation.
There are certain events I deem acceptable to tape, Marriages, Births, and special birthdays. Even some talent shows, and special events are acceptable (but be warned they will eventually be taped over with Simpsons reruns.) Everything else is unnacceptable, and if I had my way there would be laws regulating this.
